Animation
The project aimed to create an animation to teach young people about respect, courage, responsibility, and honesty. After consulting with Delna, it was agreed to base the animation on entries from the "I See" competition, featuring drawings from students in Latvian schools.
To bring together the stylistically varied drawings, a minimalist approach was chosen. Essential elements from each drawing were recreated in a simplified manner to create a harmonious look.

The animation features a boiling line technique, where each frame is redrawn to create a lively, shaky effect. This approach adds an organic feel and unifies the different artworks. Since the drawings were created by kids and the target audience is also children, maintaining a sense of playfulness and a child-like quality was important.
A total of 5,996 frames were hand-drawn for the animation. Kids were invited to a studio to record their voices as they read the script of the four qualities highlighted in the animation.
